My favorite day of the week is finally here! The work week is done, and most importantly I survived my first week of the web site launch. I am so happy and blessed to have all of you guys support my website. It has been a long time coming, but I am finally able to show you guys everything that I have been working so hard on. I hope you guys are ready for this #OOTD.

Thrifty Friday

I love a good thrift shop purchase. If any of you guys have gone to a thrift shop before or are interested in going I will give you a little secrete. Go early when they first open and all the good stuff will be there waiting for you. Thrifting takes time as well as lots of patience to search for something you find unique or even nice. I for one love thriting because there are ALWAYS great finds with awesome prices. This outfit was inspired by my love for thrifting and pattern blocking. Wearing two different patterns can be risky but it can also be fun. I decided to wear this top with this polka dotted skirt because I wanted to add a splash of color. Nothing says color more than this beautiful silk thrifted top. This top is actually really long which I will show in a future post, but I decided to tuck it in because it allowed the skirt to show my shape a bit more. This is a great summer night outfit. It can work for a summer night party or even a nice dinner date.
